Product Description

Color: Black

Ultra thin! This glass scale is one of the thinnest bath scales on the market today. Only thin, the scale sits very low to the ground, and almost feels like stepping on the floor to weigh oneself. Still backed by the quality and performance expected from Taylor Precision Products, the scale weighs to the 0.2 lbs with a capacity of 350 lbs. The underside of the scale is painted, so the look is clean and uncomplicated. 1.3 LCD digits (in a 1.4 readout) allow easy viewing, and long life lithium batteries are included. Plus, with all Taylor scales, simply step on the scale to get the weightno tapping the scale first. 5 year warranty.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good product, June 16, 2011

This review is from: Taylor 7530B Black Glass Lithium Scale (Health and Beauty)
I bought this product for my own use and my work. Definitively the product is as described, the size, the presentation and its screen, are great. It is very important to know that the size is a little big, it means that if yo are thinking in moving frecuently, you have to keee that in mind. The measure of kg, lb and stones is good, the screen is easy to read, etc. Product recomended.

1.0 out of 5 stars Worked well for awhile, then ..., June 24, 2009

I picked up this scale when my doctor finally said I -had- to lose some weight. Inexpensive, and very accurate, as long as you stand perfectly still. But after 6 months it said it needed batteries. Then a couple of weeks later it just stopped working. I replaced the batteries, but it then just displayed "3", then "79.9 kg", then nothing! And it has always read in pounds! Sure, it's not expensive, and worked well for awhile, but I expect a scale to last at least a few years.
Bottom line: not worth it at any price.

1.0 out of 5 stars Faulty electronics, do not recommend Taylor scales, January 5, 2011

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Initially this scale seemed to be working fine, and for the price I paid I could not complain for slight inaccuracies in the readings. However, a few months later the scale stopped working entirely (display would slow low battery indicator, but did not go away even with new batteries). Eventually the display failed to turn on at all.

Normally my advice would be to pay a little more and filter for highly-rated scales, however in this category of products on Amazon the ratings are suspiciously inflated for several of the bestselling scales (EatSmart, in particular). So I would suggest you look for a reputable ratings source (Good Housekeeping, Consumer Reports), and buy whatever is within your budget.
