I Love This Guitar!,
By Doug (Bluegrass) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Taylor Guitars 210ce, Dreadnought, Solid Sitka Spruce Top, Rosewood Back/Sides, Cutaway, ES-T (Electronics)
Granted this is a bit pricey to not be completely solid wood, but play it and wow! I bought this to compliment my Taylor Big Baby (which I love), and to have an Electric Acoustic. Simple, Sweet and Smooth. The tone is incredible. Intonation is near perfect. The action is perfect and playability is like butter. It does have that signature Taylor "Bright" sound which some people don't like, but some good Martin strings can change that.
As with any guitar I recommend buying a guitar in person so you can play it first. They are all a bit different, but in my experience the Taylor's have been way more consistent than many other brands. Don't be scared of the Taylor 100's and 200's. They play and sound like amazing. Yeah I'd rather have the higher end US made big brother, but as a recreational guitarist I just can't justify it. this is a great way to get the same quality guitar for less |
