This review is from: Taylor of Old Bond Street Avocado Shaving Cream in a Bowl [Health and Beauty]
This is the first type of traditional shaving cream I've used and I like it. It smells alright, it's very smooth and comfortable. You barely need any at all, I'd say for the last month I've been overusing so much until I finally realized how little I need, you barely dab your brush a few times and that's it. I would buy again.

Doesn't smell like Avocados, Best Taylor Cream,
This is the smoothest shaving Taylor cream. It doesn't smell like avocado! It smells really clean like lavender in a moist meadow with a grassy breeze. If you think the Rose shaving cream shaves well, try this bad boy! I prefer the Rose scent, but this is my second favorite Taylor scent. Don't ever buy the Lemon-Lime Taylor cream - it doesn't smell like lemon or lime, just a cheap smelling soap.
If you only buy one shaving cream, buy Taylor's avocado.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Taylor of Old Bond Street Avocado Shaving Cream in a Bowl [Health and Beauty]
Taylor of Old Bond Street is one of the older, better brands I've used. I've been wet shaving with a DE razor and badger brush for 5-6 years and you can never go wrong with ToOBS, Trufitt and Hill, or Trumpers, though the latter two are significantly more expensive than this.
This avacado in particular is a nice departure from my usual sandalwood or occasional lavendar scent. You may think you'd smell too "vegetabley" but it's a very light and calming scent. I also believe that the avacado oils in the cream improve my shave, as in general I've felt the cream being more rich than other ToOBS lathers. As was said by others, you only need a tiny bit on the tips of your brush, and I recommend getting a badger brush rather than a boar brush. Amazon has Tweezerman Men's Shaving Brush that I've been using for a number of years with no issues. It may not be quite as nice as those 100 dollar ones with porcelain handles, but it's way better than a boar brush that costs about the same amount.
