I shave with a straight razor, or if I'm rushed, a Double Edge razor. This After shave balm is a thick gel, with a vasaline type consistency. It has a wonderful "old time" sandalwood fragrance that's truly long lasting. You only need a small amount, maybe the size of an M and M, and your good to go. It's especially helpful if your face is irrataed from shaving.
