Fast, accurate and easy to read.,
This review is from: Taylor 7000 EXP Precision Tech Lithium Electronic Scale (Health and Beauty)
Need a bathroom scale? This is a very good choice. I've had the scale for about 6 months and I feel this is one of the best I've every owned. The scale is quite a value.I passed up more expensive scales that claimed as their advantage an easy to read display but I have no trouble reading this scale even while the sandman is still trying to glue my eyes shut. The scale gives accurate readings in half-pound increments. It also turns itself off and on automatically to conserve power. It does take a couple of seconds to get a reading as the scale powers up and takes its measurement. The scale is very light and small so you can put it away and take it out without effort. The low profile makes it easy to get on and off. One final benefit of this scal is that it is very easy to weigh my children. My 6 year old can very easily get on the scale and read the weight (since its self-zeroing there's nothing to worry about). I can easily hold my 18 month old and get on the scale with her and then do a difference reading (with other scales it was hard to read the dial/display and accomplish this).

Weight loss incentive!,

I started with the Taylor Analog Large Dial Bath Scale but could never see the subtle downturn in weight, would get frustrated and give up. After all, losing 2 pounds a week won't show up well on an analog scale, and I need all the incentive I can find. Some say that you should only weigh yourself once a week while dieting, but I need the constant reminder that the extra helping really isn't worth it.I love this scale, it let's me know exactly where I stand. It keeps me out of the fridge. And keeps me motivated when I can see myself go down in tenths of a pound. Also- my house is tiny and this small scale fits just about ANYWHERE! Go get one! The price is right, and so is the motivation benefit.

This scale is for if you want a general idea of your weight. I've stepped on this thing before taking a shower and right afterward and it will say that i've gained or lost 1-2.5 pounds depending on its mood. If you shift around to practically any amount it will say Err. It also takes forever to get a reading, sometimes up to 30 seconds, even with a new battery. Take the keys out of your pocket and you won't be any lighter, then take your wallet out and magically you've lost 3 pounds! Also, if the LCD is in a shadow of say, a hamper or a cabinet, you can't read the numbers. save your money and get a better scale.
