The system really does work. It's a little hard to set up--and it takes a little while to start indicating--so you need some patience. ONLY ONE SERIOUS DEFECT DON'T Put the batteries in backwards. There is no protection built in and even though direction is marked on the case it's almost impossible to see. And you don't get a second chance. I see...

Wireless Rain Gauge Review
Purchased the rain gauge as a Christmas present for my father in law. It worked fine for a week and he liked the features however it has now stopped working. The wireless device will not communicate with the rain gauge even though the batteries are good and the read out is working. Purchased the rain gauge as a Christmas present for my father in law. It worked fine for a week and he liked the features however it has now stopped working. That's unfortunate. It would also be worthwhile if you could buy the part that you damaged rather than the whole item. |
