5.0 out of 5 stars For fitness folks
The large dial is actually large and easy to read which is wonderful if you are "older". The nonskid platform is a must since most people keep their scale in the bathroom where moisture is normal. I keep mine in the kitchen and use it daily. Heavy duty and really handles the abuse we give it. And anyone who is a "lifestyle" person knows that eating...

1.0 out of 5 stars Weight for a better scale
After one year of light use, the dial sticks, then springs to some weight. In the end, I always weigh the same amount, though my doctor's scale tells me differently. This review is from: Taylor 890 ProHelix Professional Large Dial Platform Scale (Health and Beauty)
After one year of light use, the dial sticks, then springs to some weight. In the end, I always weigh the same amount, though my doctor's scale tells me differently. Every time I step off the scale, the dial resets to some new start point - 2 lbs, negative 3 lbs, rarely zero. The scale has a hard time with weights under 50lbs. (my son doesn't register a weight). The dial IS very big and VERY easy to read. I bought this for the retro look and the supposed "precision" accuracy. Given the size (huge) and the scales inability to weigh anything accurately, I would not purchase this again.

I keep mine in the kitchen and use it daily. Heavy duty and really handles the abuse we give it. And anyone who is a "lifestyle" person knows that eating wise and losing weight and keeping fit is a lifelong process and that a heavy duty scale that will last a lifetime is a must. And I personally think this is a nice scale!
