Purchased these about a year prior to writing this review and they have held up very well. Using them approx 100-150 times a day by various people entering and exiting my building via a loading dock (that has no easier way to get onto it). Structurally they have held up perfectly and the black step grip has only just started to peel after a year of sun and endless use. I am impressed. They flex a little when the bigger guys use them (I weight about 210lbs) but are sturdy and secure. My primary motivation for buying these (as we haul them in every night so the local homeless don't pick up some free steps for their 70's vintage motorhome) is that they weigh much less than anything I could have built using lumber or metal. Very happy overall.
