From the age of 8, Taylor Swift had one goal--to be a country music star. She loved to sing and was willing to give up many other childhood activities to reach that goal.

From fairs to local festivals to karoake nights, she participated in them all to get experience and be noticed.

Her parents helped her by taking her to Nashville to make a recording and then helped get it out to local record companies. When that did not work, she decided that she needed to write her own songs--to set herself apart from other singers. She did--and it worked.

Kayleen Reusser presents even more information in this picturesque book on the life of Taylor Swift. It is a quick, fun read that I think many young people--especially girls will enjoy. It also shows what determination can accomplish for a young person when they set a goal and are willing to do what it takes to reach that goal.

The book is colorful, inspiring, and would make a great gift.

Overpriced; insignificant content. I figure the price was about a dollar a page! I was expecting more pictures and biographical information.

Extremely overpriced for the small, thin book that I received. Had little information on a very low reading level. It was a Christmas gift for my niece and I was very embarrased to give it.
