A friend has these and we ordered on her recommendation. The have a large display and weigh correctly. They are easily the best set that we have ever owned. They are attractive and stylish.

This is a beautiful looking scale, and we haven't had any problems with the batteries. The only issue I've had with it has been that it seems to store the last weight in memory, and displays the memory weight if the subsequent weight is similar enough.

For example: I would step on the scale before the shower with a dry towel and dry hair, and then step on again at least 1/2 pound heavier with my hair and towel wet. It would display the same weight for me. But if I had someone else step on it in between my two weigh-ins, my second weight will be accurate and reflect the added water weight in my hair and towels. So I'm thinking of keeping a book handy to put on the scale before I weigh myself each time, so that I'm not just getting the memory weight. It's not a major quibble, though, and all in all we're very happy with the scale. Does its job and looks great.

The LCD screen is large enough to view your weight. It is a really a nice scale & it's a good buy.

The Taylor 7514 is a very attractive and accurate addition to our home. We find that the readings we get with the Taylor 7514 are very comparable to those at the doctor's office. We wish we had purchased it years ago and think it is an excellent value.

When it works, it works great.

However, it burns through batteries every 3-4 weeks. I have paid more for batteries than I originally paid for the scale. Either my unit is defective, or the product as a whole is defective.

I've contacted the company for a replacement or refund.

I've owned this scale for a few years now and it is still working fine. Haven't had to change the battery very often, either.
