5.0 out of 5 stars Funny song by talented lady
I have to disagree with the negative review. I had never seen Kristin sing this, but heard it for the first time on the CD. I thought it was hilarious and played it over and over--my husband even enjoyed it. Kristin not only has a great voice, but her humor and personality come through even without the video aspect.

2.0 out of 5 stars It's just not the same in the studio
There's no way for a sterile, studio-recorded version of the song to capture its spirit. There's no way for a sterile, studio-recorded version of the song to capture its spirit. It's one of those cases where she'd have been wise to obtain high-quality recordings of several live performances of this number and then either choose the best or have them edited together. The song doesn't only lend itself to intimate, cabaret-style performance, it *depends* upon it. Hers is a comic performance that is adapted to the audience and timed exquisitely around their laughter. Search YouTube and find her performance for Craig Ferguson's audience, and you'll hear the song as it's meant to be experienced. To have a canned recording, no matter how smoothly and beautifully and passionately she makes it, does it no more justice than if you did the same with your favorite stand-up comedians. "In concert" is the only way to go with this one.
