  • Fast-looking triangular Burner® head shape
  • SuperFast technology
  • 2: 17-degree loft, 60-degree lie, 115 cc head volume

Product Description

TaylorMade 2008 Burner Rescue with Steel Shaft The 2008 TaylorMade Burner Rescue features Dual Crown Technology that weighs less than a typical crown. Saved weight is redistributed to give the 2008 Burner Rescue a lower CG (center of gravity) than the previous Burner Rescue, promoting a higher launch and higher flight for more carry and distance. Meanwhile, the fast-looking triangular shaped head permits an even lower CG placement, making it even easier to get a solid launch. Boasting the largest size and footprint of any TaylorMade rescue club, the 2008 Burner Rescue has a higher MOI (moment of inertia) than previous Burner Rescue models for increased forgiveness on off-center hits. The SuperFast shaft and Arrow 2 ultra-light grip each promote faster swing speed for increased distance.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice replacement for a 3 iron, June 24, 2011
By
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I got a chance to try this club while golfing with a friend and went back and bought one for myself the next week. It's much more forgiving than my 3 iron and, for me, it hits straight and long. A nice, satisfying sound when struck well and it's pretty easy to hit well.

Shipped promptly from the vendor, packed well and as expected.

5.0 out of 5 stars Taylor Burner rescue club with 22 o of loft, July 10, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I have only used this club one time but I am very happy with it...It was especially effective in helping me to get the ball into the air from the higher grass in the rough...I seemed to be able to get pretty good distance as well (approx 165 yards)...This club was delivered to my house on time and in perfect condition...I am delighted to have it in my golf bag.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth every penny, June 26, 2011
This review is from: TaylorMade 2008 Burner Rescue with Graphite Shaft (Misc.)
Just got this club recently and love it. Hits out of the rough great and flies long and straight. I even use it to tee off on some short par fours or doglegs. Makes par five's reachable. This is a great and easy to use club, worth every penny.
