I've been eyeing these for years, and finally got one. OK, so with my 18 handicap, I still have trouble with consistency on the driver, but the fades are less extreme, and I'm actually hitting a slight draw now. Even when I mis-hit, I seem to be in less trouble. great driver!

I upgraded to this club from a Jack Nicklaus Air Bear -a very ancient club. Given that it was such an upgrade, I was pleasantly surprised at how much this driver helped my game. The club is very forgiving on off center shots and I can now drive 300+ yards straight down the pipe, which has given me confidence to go for the green on those barely reachable par 4s. The club feels well balanced and I feel like I just need to swing it to hit it straight. Of course a club is highly subjective, but after using my club and trying my friends TM R7, TM R9, Ping G15 I still prefer mine. It just feels great. Now, if I could only get my short game in line :)

I couldn't decide which driver I should buy. R11 or other new drivers? I purchased 2009 Burner dirver and I am really happy with it. Today (April 20 2011) was my first play with 2009 Burner driver and I have 40 - 50 yards more distance for almost every par 4 or 5 with accurate hit. My friend who played with me was very amazed. My score is down from 98 to 90.

Before purchasing this driver, I borrowed a friend's and was blown away with my experience. In the course of one game, I noticed a significant improvement in my launch. I felt the power right away with its improved swing speed adding quite a bit of yardage to my previous numbers. This is a highly recommended product, for sure!

This is my first 460 cc modern driver....First reaction , long shaft can be problems...I don't believe in the "cut down concept" as the educated engineers designed it a certain way for a reason!!!!changing flex points and swing weights by guessing dont sound like great ideas...I went to the range today and just choked down a little after initial erratic shots at first.... as I usually hit stiff by I am not getting any younger so....I choked down slowed down the swing to a controllable
swing reminding myself to keep my weight back and BBBOOOOOOMMMM ...Honestly 280 and straight as an arrow....49 gram shaft swing easy , choke down a little and it may be a monster ....the price has come way down on these used as e bay has loads even with hc for 50 bucks or so....I pay that for a round....I always experiment new heads and shaft weights used as you can always put them in the reserve or turn them around and break even...First reaction,,,Dont Overswing....Choke down a little....remember the basics(Ball forward and weight back ) and you will be as happy as I was on first day out!!!Hit them straight.

I have purchased a number large modern metal drivers. The TaylorMade 460 Burner works the best for me, a not so great golfer. This is my second burner and I enjoyed the Amazon purchase price being $30 less than a burner I brought elsewhere in 2010.

I feel that the Taylor made driver is just great. I bought this one because I really liked the one that my husband uses. I am very happy with mine.
