If you want to save a few bucks, these are a great alternative to the Pro V1's. They hit far and have a decent spin around the greens. They usually have a buy 2 get 1 free deal so it ends up being much cheaper.

I ordered a few dozen of these while they were on sale. I've been using the Penta TP3, and while I do like the ball very much, it's certainly somewhat lacking off the tee and around the greens. I went through two dozen of the original Pentas last year. I liked the feel on and around the greens, but got too much spin off the tee so I started using the Bridgestone e6 and Penta TP3s once those came out. After reading several reviews and hearing that they had fixed the core and thus the driver issues I decided to stock back up on these. Took a sleeve out with me today and after slicing it the first two holes, realized that I needed to just swing full power rather than trying to just punch the ball out into the fairway. Well, after switching to a full strength swing I started lacing them straight down the middle. Perfect trajectory in my opinion. Despite reducing the driver spin, these still spun very nicely on all other shots. Distance, spin, feel, it all seemed a step up from everything else I've been using. Loving 'em so far and I recommend these to anyone with at least a decent swing speed.

Great ball! Long yet spins a lot around the greens. These were brand new as described. Rivals the Pro V1x.

Nice golf balls. Good price. Really not much else to say about em. The cover is not as tacky as the ProV1s, but hold up pretty well.

I make no bones about it...I'm a TM guy. Love these balls. Great distance and control. They really fly off an R1 driver.

Switched to these balls last season and never looked back. Great mix of velocity and control around the green with impressive durability.

My husband loved them. I like the fact that I did not have to walk in to a sports store.

I went back and forth between these and pro v1 for a while. I think I actually hit the pro v1 a little farther off the tee (maybe 10 yards). But the overall feel of this ball outclasses the rest. I don't know the exact stat, but the majority of your strokes are from 100 yards and closer. I have found the 5 layers mean I can do more with this ball than even the pro v1. As a low-handicap player, I want to be able to choose between stop, bounce and stop, or release. I can do all 3 con command with this ball. The pro v1 spins just enough on me that the bounce and stop is much harder for me to achieve.
