5.0 out of 5 stars Quantum Leap in Technology May 20, 2012
I am a 10 handicap and avid golfer. I am also not one of those guys who goes out every year and buys the newest and best marketed club every season. With that being said I was playing with a driver technology that was about 8 years old and pretty satisfied until... Until one of my golfing buddies bought this club. I took a couple of swings with it and I immediately noticed the difference in control, and distance. With my old driver, I hit the ball on average of about 260-280 with a swing speed of around 105. With this club I hit the ball on average of 20/25 yards farther. For me, this qualifies as a quantum leap in club technology and warranted a purchase. I would have bought it on Amazon.com but I was too impatient as I was playing again the next day so I scurried off to my local sporting goods store and purchased the RBZ-S 9.5 degree. I thought about the pricier R11. However the big difference in the two is the weighting technology in the R11 to promote a fade or draw. Maybe I'm just a purist, but I think you should adjust your swing to hit a draw or slice versus tinkering with weights on the bottom of the club. Therefore I elected the RBZ. I calibrated the loft to 9 degrees flat and probably will never change it. I would recommend this club for anyone looking to improve their distance without sacrificing control. I'm not sure how it compares to driver models that may have come out in the last couple of years, but if you are playing with a driver that's more than 5 years old (as I was) this club is one to seriously consider. Hope this helps... Hit em straight! P.S. I have purchased countless products on Amazon. This is the first review I have ever written. I was compelled to do so given my level of satisfaction with this club. P.P.S My wife is none too happy as I have made room for my RBZ driver in our bed at night.

5.0 out of 5 stars What a club! February 21, 2012
I am a 15 year old that is probably a 20 handicapper. I was hesitant to buy it after hitting it at stores but after my first round on the course with it, this thing is so deadly accurate and is at least 30 yards further than my old driver. I used to only hit 3 or 4 fairways out of 14 but now I hit 11 or 12. I really haven't seen much difference between the lofts that you can switch it to (I have the 10.5 degree)but the face angle change is apparent. There is no separate area to adjust the face angle separately, so if you are a low handicap that wants to shape their shots, go with the r11s or the Razr Fit. If you increase the loft, it is at a draw but if you decrease it is a fade (for a righty). If you need help hitting more fairways and you are getting old and can't hit the ball far anymore, get the Taylormade Rocketballz driver. You will not be dissapointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Claimed Added Yardage is No Lie! May 24, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase
I was skeptical about the claim of adding 30 yards to your drive but it turned out to be true. The first hole I tried this on had a creek at 290 yards and I put the ball within 5 yards of it ... while with my old drive I was usually 50 yards from it!

Now granted, my old Nike driver was ten years old, but I was stunned to see all my drives increase when I made solid contact. I have no problems recommending this club to friends or strangers. It seems to have a forgiving sweet spot as well.

I bought the 9.5 degree w/ a regular shaft.
