I love this driver and the 460 head. Was a big upgrade for me starting to play again after limited play for 20 years. The 9.5 has plenty of ball height, for me anyway. Tee it up a little higher than i did my old Bubble Taylor with much smaller head. I got it with the stiff flex graphite and it's still easy to hit for me. I also ordered a regular flex shaft, it's so easy to change shafts. After about a month I'm favoring the stiff shaft although my swing still isn't back in shape and i have to have a hip replacement this fall. I was around a 13 hdc when i stopped playing regularly and after about 15 rounds the last 2 months I'm a 20 but did have two rounds in the high 80's. The ball still rolls a long way with this club on missed hits. I would say the trajectory is higher than i expected, but i'm still teeing it pretty high. Love the swing feel, the sound, the feedback is good on where you hit the ball. The big head was a concern, but not anymore. If you are using a good 460 head you may not gain much from this club in distance but it has great feel for me. Takes some time on Taylor made site to figure out the inbetween adjustments but they do make a difference and if you have a consistent swing the adjustments may help you tune it.
PS, i am 68 and this club sure helped me get back some of the distance i had before. I'm averaging around 230-240 when my swing is good. Looking for more next year.

Someone let me try this out at a driving range. I crushed a long drive with little effort and immediately resolved to buy one for myself. I upgraded from an 2008 standard Burner. My best drives with this are 20 to 30 yards longer than my best drives with my old club. It is easy to change the face angle with the supplied wrench. When tightening the bolt, be sure to turn the wrench until the wrench makes a loud pop.

Great club at a great price. I have purchased other items from Carl's and I'm just as satisfied with those products.

My husband was so pleased with this club, says he has the best drives ever!
