5.0 out of 5 stars Great deal on great balls!
I first started playing TP Black/Red balls about 3 years ago. These have a great feel off the club face at impact and the distance and spin are exceptional. Reds are better for soft greens while blacks are better on hard greens for spin. I prefer these over the ProV1. I bought three dozen recycled for just over $20.00 and had maybe 5 old, non LDP TP Blacks in all. A...

3.0 out of 5 stars Excellent but not outstanding
Really good golf balls at a great price. The balls were in terrific condition. The main problem was that 5 of the balls were the old TP Red (rather than the expected TP Red LDP) and a 6th was a practice LDP ball.

3.0 out of 5 stars Bought Taylor Made and received Bridgestone, December 9, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The balls were in good shape, but they were not Taylor Made TP. I received Bridgestone balls instead. If the seller does not have Taylor balls (that I ordered), he should have come back to me.
I don't think I would ever consider buying from this seller again.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not even good for the range anymore..., October 19, 2010

I really like the TP Red Taylormade balls. I've purchased these in the past two years a few times. The quality at first was very good. However, the past couple of times the balls have come in horrible shape, especially this last order. I couldn't even find a half a dozen balls in the entire pack that were in decent shape. Most of them have several, big, deep scratches on them. Some of them were even yellowish in color. I'll keep them for practice, but that's really all they're good for. It's a shame, but their quality has gone way down. This last order is definitely my last one. My advice: look for a different vendor.

2.0 out of 5 stars Misleading description, September 24, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

"Excellent condition" is quite a stretch for these balls; maybe 12 of the 36 would qualify. Another 15 were in moderately good shape (minor scuffs/scrapes that shouldn't affect performance to a large degree) while the remaining 9 are essentially practice balls (very poor condition - A to AA @ best.) I realize that these are re-conditioned & that a certain amount of less-than-stellar balls should be expected (assumed maybe 3-4 per), but this seems quite excessive even for "seconds." As an FYI, I did order Nike Platinum balls from the same vendor @ the same time - they arrived in much better shape (4 were sub-par....no pun intended.) As others have stated, order @ your own risk.

2.0 out of 5 stars Scraped, cut, discolored, and, oh, some nice balls too., September 18, 2010

If you're reading this, you probably want to make sure that you're not buying junk balls. I read these reviews too. Some of the balls are good and clean as described. I would say that most are what my dad would describe as "schmuck balls." That is, balls that are scuffed, cut, discolored, or otherwise in such a condition that you would reach for them on a water hole. I was very disappointed. At least one of the balls is a practice model (with the thin colored band). Several have scrapes like they hit pavement and others look like they spent a season in the mud. I'm going to keep them because I'm in a real golfing funk at the moment. I'm not proud to say that I lose 4 or 5 per round. At that rate, I really should be hitting these schmuck balls. If you're looking for a high end ball for high end play at a low end price, that's not what you're going to get in the mail.

A great value if you can find this at $20 and change.

The balls were in great condition, but a few were the old TP/Red not the LDP model. But they were all in great shape.

3.0 out of 5 stars Ok deal, but not all balls are as advertised, October 26, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Taylormade TP Recycled Golf Ball, 36 Pack (Sports)
Out of the thirty-six balls in this package, there were two range balls, two Taylor Made Red (non-TDP), and two balls that had big scuffmarks that I wouldn't be comfortable playing with (as if the balls were really smashed off a tree or into the cartpath). The other thirty are all playable, and around 24 of them are in near-mint condition.

In addition, the package I got was split into one twelve pack labled "12 premium recycled golf balls" and one twenty-four pack labeled "24 proline grade b recycled golf balls." All twelve in the "premium" pack were in near-mint condition, all of the problem balls were in the twenty-four pack. I'm a little upset that they would swap in a pack of "grade b" balls without labeling it as such in the product description, although the overall deal is still ok.

5.0 out of 5 stars great balls for a cheap price., September 29, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Taylormade TP Recycled Golf Ball, 36 Pack (Sports)
at rough $0.56 a ball, I wasn't expecting much, but they play as well as Titleist balls I've used. Way better than the similarly priced top-flite or other crap balls. Just get them so you never have to use any cheap balls if you'ree one. I had around 30 in perfect condition in my batch, the other 6 I use as practice balls, but they were in good enough condition to play with. Might just be luck of the draw on quality, but at this price it's still worth it.

5.0 out of 5 stars excellent value, September 14, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
All the balls received were in excellent condition and, I would say, indistinguishable from new. Some had logos on them and they were a mix of TP and TP LDP, but my golf is not good enough that I can actually tell the difference between these models in play.

Excellent value. I intend to buy more.
