I use to buy this all the time. It was concentrated, spicy and delicious. Now it's watery, way too sweet and not at all spicy. It tastes more like Oregan Chai now and I hate Oregan Chai. It's watery and sweet and if that's what I like I'd be buying that instead. If you go on facebook you'll see one complaint after another about exactly this issue. Apparently the company changed and ALL their teas changed as well although the company won't admit it. If you like your tea spicy, concentrated and not too sweet (hello......I can add my own sugar, thank you very much. I can't take it out once you've put it in!) then don't bother with this tea anymore. It's a huge disappointment. Shame on them for ruining something we've enjoyed for years and not even having the guts to admit to it. Apparently they think we are all idiots with no taste buds and can't tell the difference. It's insulting.

I also order this stuff from coffeeam.com but it is a concentrate; it says right on the carton to add equal parts of milk(or milk substitute - I use 1/2% milk to watch calories and cholesterol levels). I also use the Krups espresso machine in order to steam my milk before mixing with the heated up Chai. And as a result, it tastes exactly like Starbucks. I can drink it at a much lower cost though by making it at home! If your Chai is made this way, you shouldn't taste a 'peppery' or 'spicy' taste. That means there is too much chai. Of course, after reading the other reviews, I realize that some people enjoy the stronger flavor. But for those who enjoy the Starbucks Chai, this is the way to go.

I have purchased this from the star place many times and here. It is the same stuff. The amount you use depends on how strong you like your chai. I mix mine 1/2 and 1/2 with soy milk for a rich creamy warm wintery beverage. Works great mixing in a blender as well for a cool creamy beverage (does seperate if you don't drink it fast enough, but a few swirls or shakes fixes that right up). Add a little extra chai for stronger flavor. Highly recommend! One container makes anywhere from 3-8 glasses of chai for me.

I'm not a coffee drinker, but a few years ago, I discovered Starbucks Hot Chai Tea Lattes. This is the same stuff they use and works just as well mixed with milk and warmed in a microwave as in their expresso machines - or whatever it is they use. Steamer??? Don't know. Like I said, I'm not a coffee guy. Not a big tea drinker either, but a Hot Chai Tea Latte often hits the spot just right.

I got this because I'm on a Chai kick and would prefer to go straight to work then wait in line for it at my local SBUX. Unfortunately, this does not taste like it does in the store. The instructions should hint you to this, though, since at the store you put in 4 pumps of Chai for a 16 ounce drink while this requires half of the drink's volume to be poured in.

Tazo Chai Latte Concentrate
Although this isn't the same product they use at Starbucks (same manufacturer but the actual product they use at Starbucks isn't available to the public), it is a decent replacement. To get the full flavor of a Starbucks Chai Tea Latte, I have to use this at 50% mix/50% milk. Since there is no Starbucks within 30 miles of my location, this is a good replacement.

Starbucks rarely has it in stock. Great price on Amazon. You know it is available . It is delicious. You add half tea and half milk the tea is concentrated it goes a long way. I also buy the syrup not on line due to delivery charges but with prime there is no delivery. So one click it is. Then had whip cream. Heavenly.

Love Chai in general, my mother's tea is highly favored by friends and family, and because my parents are from India, I have been blessed to have access to some of the best Chai ingredients. I must say Starbucks chai is pretty damn close to the authentic chai my mom makes for me, unfortunately running multiple businesses leaves me with little time to stop at my parents' and have my mom prepare the authentic Chai. Therefore, the next best thing is to have the Starbucks Chai, though less caffeine than authentic chai. And I found this concentrate on jet.com for $5.99 with free shipping, so I ordered two for less than the price of one on Amazon.
