This Könemann Music Budapest Edition includes two sonatas: The "Grande Sonate" Op. 38 in G major and the C# minor "Sonate" wrote in 1865. This book is the third volume in the "Complete Tchaikovsky Works Collection". The music is finely printed, with the clearness and optimal size that makes a Könemann Edition one of the best. At the end of this volume there is a short biography about Tchaikovsky that contributes to know more about this fantastic composer. As a Könemann Edition, it is urtext, so it is as closer to the manuscript as it could be. Editor's notes and sources are presented at the end of the book. This is a great acquisition because of the rarely played music that it contains!
