Not As Described, September 4, 2008

Wonderful as this item may be, it is not as described, i.e., it is not "Swan Lake" the ballet, but rather highlights from the ballet, along with suites from two other ballets, apparently identical to the same issue in Essential Classics
Tchaikovsky: Swan Lake; Adam: Giselle; Meyerbeer: The Skaters, which is $3 less.
If the Swan Lake is the same as that recorded under the Columbia label in years long past, by all means get it. It's superb (the one star is for the product description, not the product). But save yourself the three bucks and get the Essential Classics version.
