Lama Karta has a magnificent voice and this recording is a welcome release following his "Tibetan Chants, Buddhist Meditation".
Tcheud (usually spelled Chod in English) is a Tibetan Buddhist practice (called the practice of "cutting") of meditation on the perfection of transcendental wisdom.
All could benefit from hearing this music, but it is not to be taken lightly, played as background, or ignored.
The extensive liner notes describe the history of the practice and outline suggestions for listening to the ritual.
I highly recommend it!
