I started listening to banda and norteno music to help with learning Spanish (which it did), but I wasn't prepared for how much El Coyote y su banda Tierra Santa rock. Songs like 'Te Sone', 'Un Besito', and 'Sinceridad' are great. El Coyote's music has powerful horn riffs and driving bass rythyms that are completely absent in contemporary English music.
