Volume, bass and treble plus a power switch.

If you do not know the output impedance of your source, or you do not know how to remove the resistors, give this unit a pass.

TeLi A6 is a mono (not stereo) inverting BTL amplifier with a non-defeatable flashing LED on the volume control, no rubber feet and a non-standard low (2 Kohm) input impedance. Two of these amplifiers must be used for stereo. If this is not what you want, give this unit a pass. If you are still interested, read on.
I and my wife found the flashing LED irritating and distracting, and so I replaced the LED with a non-flashing light blue.
The low input impedance will cause loss of low frequencies unless your source driving this amplifier has a low (like 100 Ohm) output impedance. I my case, my source had an output impedance of 47 kOhm so I removed the two 2 kOhm input resistors in the TeLi A6 which resulted in restoring the input impedance to 50kOhm and restored the missing low frequencies from the source. If you do not know the output impedance of your source, or you do not know how to remove the resistors, give this unit a pass.
Since the output is inverting, I just reversed the polarity of the connections to the speaker and made it non-inverting.
I wanted a stereo amplifier and therefore I purchased two of these amplifiers and modified both. I recommend using them in pairs.
I wanted to listen to the music with stereo headphones, and since this is a BTL amplifier I had to modify my headphones to keep the ground returns separate. I could then use the two amplifiers to listen to music in stereo with headphones.
Now that the modified TeLi A6 is behaving like a normal stereo amp, on with the review.
The TeLi A6 Amplifier is a compact two integrated circuit based single channel (mono) amplifier in an extruded dark blue aluminum case (1.60"x2.77"x4.62" [5.48" with mounting flange]), with dark blue front and rear panels secured to the case by 8 screws.

For years, i've been complaining that I couldn't get a head unit in my car that didn't look like a disco lighting booth. Flashy colors, mysterious buttons and dials, full color displays.... all that kind of stuff just serves as eye candy for the prospective thief. When my $20 Pyle disco unit got stolen, I decided to try to find exactly what I was looking for the whole time: a volume knob and an AUX port.
Well, this may have a little more than that, but it's basically the idea. You get a unit designed to power speakers raw, it's got an mp3 port and a pair of RCAs in. Volume, bass and treble plus a power switch. The size is tiny, about 3" x 5" x 1". And it cranks pretty nicely. You're not gonna get the kind of bump you would in a high-end system, but you can hear a podcast on the highway.
I'm getting a second one to power a little portable system I built with 2 3-way speakers and a lead acid battery. Plenty loud for that too. AND I can go stereo.
PS, also, my unit shipped with a power cord for the car. I know it's not advertised, but maybe they changed things.

Ordered this so I could use my Ipod touch to play music on my deck instead of running ot the basement all the time when I had speakers hooked up to my reciever down there. I am happy with the amp and it has worked well. The only issue is a couple times I get feedback through it while using Pandora. It is a thumping sound that is in time with the lights on the volume dial. I think it may be an issue with Pandora since I haven't run into it when playing music from my ipod. In the end I am happy with the amp which arrived well before they said it would.
8/27/2012 Update on this product. I have changed my review to a one star and recommend you purchase a different amp than this one. Mine has slowly gotten worse with the feedback throught the speakers. It now does it either playing Pandora or playing music on from my Ipod. THe company really stands behind their piece of junk with a 30 day return/warranty on it. This is the first product I have purchased through Amazon that I have been disappointed with.
In the end if your looking for a amp find one from a different seller and manufacturer.

Good price and it works. It doesn't have near the watt output as advertised but I knew that before buying. It's small and sounds good and that was what I was looking for. Fast Shipping!

Puts out alot of juice for a small unit. Seems to be a real good piece to use for adding a little extra punch to your sound system or just to bump up the volume if want more punch.

When I first bought this amp I experienced significant buzz and hum. Rated it 2 stars. Then I started experimenting a bit because I had noticed similar (but less distinct) hum in other small amps as well. Eventually discovered the problem isn't so much the amp as it is AC wall warts.

I had four wall warts from 3 different manufacturers. The only one that didn't have buzz was a Sony unit (no surprise there). I also had two DC battery sources and found the buzz and hum disappeared entirely when I used those.

I give this 4 stars instead of 5 because it's 8-16 ohms rather than the standard 4 that's popular with this size of amp. That stated, once I eliminated the hum this produced fine sound out of a wide range of speakers. Some folks are put off by the cycling flashing of the LED around the volume control. Other folks love the "special effects". The sound seems decent enough and the price is right.
