5.0 out of 5 stars What a delight!, January 13, 2007
This review is from: Tea Box, The (Paperback)
This beautiful collection of rituals and recipes is a treasure any tea lover will appreciate. 40 cards feature inspired vignettes on one side that reverse to recipes featuring tea, or the art of tea in the region indicated. You'll find everything from Chilled champagne with oolong tea to Casserole veal chops scented with Szechwan tea to Tea-flavored apples. Also included is a booklet detailing the history of tea and tea customs in several regions.

The photography, layout, and design are executed flawlessly and that more than anything is what drew me in--picture a brilliant orange pashmina as backdrop to a bronze Kashmiri teapot and period tea box resting on a richly decorated settee, and you'll begin to get an idea of the "moments" captured on each card. Just brew a pot of tea and enjoy!
