We've been looking for a teapot like this for a while and this is the best we've found since traveling around Australia.

Love the look of this teapot, and it is functional (strainer is good).

This is an excellent Tea Pot. My wife makes tea 4 or 5 times a day. This tea pot keeps the tea warm longer than any other pot she has used. We also love the way it looks. It reminds me of Sputnik (only older people will know what I am talking about). The only reason I failed to give it five stars is that after about 2 years (at least 1460 pots of tea) it starts to leak where the spout is attached to the body. We are on our third tea pot now, and will undoubtedly purchase another when this one leaks.

This tea pot meets all my expectations and then some. It pours cleanly with not one drip. The infuser is all metal so there is no plastic to add a taste or to wear out. It keeps the tea perfectly hot with little or no cooldown for a good half hour or more. Add a tea cozy and it will be hot for you for hours, I bet. The lid fits tight enough so there is no fear of it falling out while you pour and yet is easy to remove when needed. The handle stays cool to the touch and is the perfect size and shape to feel secure while you hold it to pour. Best of all... it is a pleasingly shaped pot to look at and to hold.

I received the teapot an it had a ding in it. The little round legs looked like it was melded by some inexperenced worker. Around the spout , it was copper color. Very poor workmanship. Inside was very rough. I thought it would be smooth, but it looked like I would have to boil it a few times just to make sure nothing would leach out. It is also very very small. I decided to return it.

I called the number on the invoice and they said someone would call me back. No one ever called so I called again. The person answering the phone said, this is not customer service, this is the sales department. Finally I received an email from Amazon which told me where to send the item.

Then they didn't refund me the full amount. No reason given. I call the number again and of course they said someone will call me back and no one ever did. I ended up paying $15.22 for shipping and another $8.63 for no apparent reason. They didn't bother to give a reason why I didn't get a full refund.

Don't buy this unless you are absolutely sure you would like it. I have bought things on Amazon before and this is the first time I had to return something and it took a long time to look for a number to call. I would be very careful if I were to order on Amazon again.

I was really looking forward to getting this teapot. I have a lovely cast iron one but I got tired of cleaning it as the patina built up and opted to get something simpler. When I received it I was blown away by how poorly made it is. First the knob on the top looks like it's been glued on, and you can clearly see the gobs of dried glue around it. (or it might be a rubber clear gasket of some kind- either way it looks sloppy.) The area where both the spout and the handle are attached to the rest of the pot are a copper color rather than matching the rest of the pot... but it's not MEANT to be a copper color...the color is bleeding from the edge of the spout like if it was welded after the brushed finish on the pot was done. And lastly- and worst of all; the inside of the pot is rough and when you brush it with your finger you can feel the metal shavings coming off. You would have to do some serious cleaning of the inside of this pot before using it safely... and even then I'm not sure there wouldn't be any leeching of metalic compounds into the tea. The feet also look dented. There is only one good thing I can say about this pot and that is that the opening at the top is nice and wide. Too many pots have narrow openings lending to narrow filters that do not let the leaves of the tea to bloom properly. The lid also seems like it will not slip off during pouring. But the rest of this pot is so poor, it doesn't even matter. I don't know if the reviewers that say this pot is good are fake, or if they just recently decided to manufacture these in China or something...but the reviewer that mentioned this is poorly made was absolutely right. I only hope I have an easier time returning it than she did. By far the most horrendous excuse for a tea pot I've ever seen.

Worst purchase online! This teapot is VERY poor quality - should have trusted the other reviews I read. The seams are poorly saudered together - you can see everything. It feels cheap even by the weight. The lid does not fit properly. The rubber seal for the knob on the lid is way too large and squishes out the sides making it look like a sloppy "glue job". So disappointing as I have a small 14oz painted lady teapot by this same company, unless this is a knock-off. Don't buy, keep looking...

Only caveat - the metal lid heats up really quickly, u need a towel nearby to remove the infuser.

These teapots are amazing, the tea leafs get to float around, open up and release a tonne of flavor. I have used teaballs and either ended up with weak tea, so that the tea leafs could open up in the ball, or wasted tea leafs in the centre of the ball, when I tried to get stronger tea. They are easy to clean and my extended family absolutely loves the tea flavors that the basket allows to release. Well worth the money.
