Wonderful for little one's!,
By Amanda Carroll (Knoxville, TN) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Tea for Ten (Hardcover)
My son loves this book. He is always pulling it out and bringing it to me so I can read it to him. He likes the artwork and I like it because it is teaching him the different numbers and names for animals. I love the aspect of him learning his numbers at an early age. My son is a year old and already loves books so this is a great way to incorporate learning.

Sweet but Stylish,
This review is from: Tea for Ten (Hardcover)
As a parent of a 14-month old, I hunger for books that please both me and my child. This book does so. The short, rhyming verses are engaging to hear and to say. The soft yellow-grey palette of the author's watercolor illustrations is pleasing to my eyes, but, with red highlights, vibrant enough to hold my daughter's attention too. Similarly, the animal guests that arrive to attend the lonely little hedgehog's impromptu tea party, which include a frog, a teddy bear, and a baby girl, are sufficiently stylized to be interesting to adults, while still recognizable by children. I highly recommend this beautiful little book.

Old, but good,

My 1 and 3 year old both love this book. Although its hard to find, it was definitely worth the search. Teaches counting, friendship, and is simple enough for infants to follow.
