Product Description

Genre: BBW Menage

Straight, gay or in between, turning thirty is never easy.

Craig wonders just where his life heading. His relationship with Jack is satisfying, to say the least. But deep down, he sometimes still craves the soft touches of a woman.

Something's bugging Craig, and Jack knows it. Some sort of pre midlife crisis that he just can't understand. The sex is hot and demanding. Their home life is comfortable without being too familiar. But he just can't help feeling he might be about to lose the love of his life.

Then they meet lovely, loyal and slightly broken Wren Browne. It doesn't take long to realize, they might have just have found the solution to both of their problems.

Love isn't tidy or simple; it doesn't come packaged in neat little boxes. And sometimes you have to set the table with tea for three.

Publisher's Note: This book contains explicit sexual content, graphic language, and situations that some readers may find objectionable: m/m sex practices, m/m/f menage.

5.0 out of 5 stars Enjoyed this book, December 30, 2011

I really love the m/m/f category and I always struggle to find a good book that fits. This one was a little different than most, in the sense that one of the two partners feels like he needs something more in the relationship but in no way is he willing to give up his partner. He ends up meeting the heroine in the bar and always am a sucker for a misunderstanding especially in these books because it is believable and then the relationship builds from there. I still reread it on a rainy day!

I was very curious about this Anne Douglas book because the premise drew me in. I have to say after having read the book, that I was not too impressed. I really enjoy a committed menage, and the bi guys can be really hot, but this story just did not make the grade for me. The characters, Wren, Craig and Jack could have been more dynamic. Craig and Jack are a bi couple and lately Craig has been feeling like somethings missing from their lives. He wants a woman and family to complete them. He meets Wren in a bar where she's having a lonely drink at the bar while her "friends" dance the night away. Just when Craig is getting her to talk to him, his lover Jack comes over and interrupts them. Wren assumes they are both gay and she leaves. Months later, Jack hires a consultant for his landscaping business and discovers that its Wren. He doesn't tell Craig that Wren is working with him until weeks later. They decide that they both feel something for her and decide to include her in their lives and all three become friends. Wren walks with a cane and has terrible scars on her body due to a horrible car accident when she was fifteen. Her mother was killed in this accident. The guys don't see her disability and think she is beautiful inside and out. This part of the story is admirable, it's just so friggin boring. Even at the end of the story I didn't feel the passionate love that they were supposed to have for her. The author really should work on that aspect of her writing. Erotic romance has to have the hot sex and love combination that makes the reader want to read the book over and over again. The sex scenes between Craig and Jack were hotter than when all three were together! What? If you want to read about two bi guys who fall in love with a wonderful woman with baggage from her past, please read Tymber Dalton's Love Slave series. These books are some of my favorites and you will reread them, as a matter of note, Tea for Three had some very familiar elements of the Love Slave series, but they all fell flat. Save your money and buy Tymber Dalton.

More About the Author

Figuring she'd try anything once (and maybe just a little bit because her girlfriends egged her on) Anne Douglas sat down in Jan 2006 to write a sexy romance. Apparently she told a good story as an offer was made and the story was published in July 2006.

Deciding once was not enough, she bought herself a laptop and wrote some more words - stories that often featured boys who like girls who like boys who like boys and girls - and has been making use of her imagination and quality (cough) sarcasm ever since.

Originally from New Zealand, she's been in the USA since 2001. Moving to the 'South' has taken a bit of adaptation, and she's still confounding the natives with her chilly bins, carparks and jandals (Oh, and the number seven...for some reason).
