I really love the m/m/f category and I always struggle to find a good book that fits. This one was a little different than most, in the sense that one of the two partners feels like he needs something more in the relationship but in no way is he willing to give up his partner. He ends up meeting the heroine in the bar and always am a sucker for a misunderstanding especially in these books because it is believable and then the relationship builds from there. I still reread it on a rainy day!

I was very curious about this Anne Douglas book because the premise drew me in. I have to say after having read the book, that I was not too impressed. I really enjoy a committed menage, and the bi guys can be really hot, but this story just did not make the grade for me. The characters, Wren, Craig and Jack could have been more dynamic. Craig and Jack are a bi couple and lately Craig has been feeling like somethings missing from their lives. He wants a woman and family to complete them. He meets Wren in a bar where she's having a lonely drink at the bar while her "friends" dance the night away. Just when Craig is getting her to talk to him, his lover Jack comes over and interrupts them. Wren assumes they are both gay and she leaves. Months later, Jack hires a consultant for his landscaping business and discovers that its Wren. He doesn't tell Craig that Wren is working with him until weeks later. They decide that they both feel something for her and decide to include her in their lives and all three become friends. Wren walks with a cane and has terrible scars on her body due to a horrible car accident when she was fifteen. Her mother was killed in this accident. The guys don't see her disability and think she is beautiful inside and out. This part of the story is admirable, it's just so friggin boring. Even at the end of the story I didn't feel the passionate love that they were supposed to have for her. The author really should work on that aspect of her writing. Erotic romance has to have the hot sex and love combination that makes the reader want to read the book over and over again. The sex scenes between Craig and Jack were hotter than when all three were together! What? If you want to read about two bi guys who fall in love with a wonderful woman with baggage from her past, please read Tymber Dalton's Love Slave series. These books are some of my favorites and you will reread them, as a matter of note, Tea for Three had some very familiar elements of the Love Slave series, but they all fell flat. Save your money and buy Tymber Dalton.
