Product Description

Amazon.com Product Description

The ultimate in space-saving ingenuity, the Teac SR-L35S 18-watt stereo system--which includes a CD player, AM/FM tuner, and two bass-reflex speakers--mounts directly on a living room or bedroom wall, making it a great choice for small homes and apartments. The device is simple to operate and streamlined, with a motorized CD door, a multifunction LCD display, and a portable remote control. It also boasts such essential CD functions as 20-track programming, repeat play (one and all), shuffle play, and intro scan. When listeners want an alternative to CDs, they can turn instead to the Quartz PLL synthesized AM/FM tuner, which includes 10 FM and 10 AM presets for easy channel surfing.

Though the 15-by-9-by-4.6-inch frame (W x H x D) is designed for wall mounting, it also sits quite comfortably on the tabletop as an alternative. The latter positioning will likely be more convenient when using the built-in sleep timer and alarm, as listeners can store the device on a nearby nightstand or dresser. Meanwhile, the music radiating from the stereo sounds consistently good thanks to the pair of full-range speakers. The SR-L35S also includes a headphone jack for private listening.

What's in the Box
SR-L35S stereo, two speakers, remote control, user's manual.

4.0 out of 5 stars Teac SR-L35S CD Stereo, July 4, 2005
This review is from: Teac SR-L35S Wall-Mounting or Tabletop Stereo with CD Player and AM/FM Tuner, Silver (Electronics)
The sound is excellent for such small stereo. I bought this for my office and had been concerned it would sound tinny at low volumes. Fortunately that was not the case and I am happy with my purchase.

2.0 out of 5 stars Way too much base and generally poor design, December 30, 2005

Don't buy this item. It has too much base and no way to adjust it. It also is poorly designed from a usability perspective. And it loses all it's memory if you unplug it or the power goes out, even for a second. You have to reprogram all the presets, the time, and your alarm settings.
