To God be the Glory! This book is a book that could have only be inspired and written by the guidance and direction of the holy spirit. I have been married for 8 years and took notes on what to do and not to do. During my reading God revealed many transforming things to me. While reading I have shouted, danced, cried and I ask God's forgiveness for my sins in what ever areas I have fallen short as a Woman of God,Wife and Mother. It is a well written book. I know that many marriages, as well as brides to be and husbands to be will be blessed greatly and have been blessed greatly. This is a MUST read. I found myself constantly taking a few minutes to pray for this husband and wife whom have shared so much of themselves and personal experiences in this book. They have done it so that we could be blessed by it. They open their life up to us and share. They give it to you straight with no sugar coating! They have been used a great vessels. Please remember to keep them in prayer. God has just started with their marriage and I am sure the best is yet to come! In the end, I prayed that God would continue and never stop teaching me how to love my newly SAVED HUSBAND!! God bless the soul of every reader of the book and continue to keep them from falling. More importantly, allow your Word to minister to ever unsaved soul, and every saved person that reads it - have your way GOD!
After you read this book then please purchase mine on Amazon titled Prostrate before Him. Terri Smalls

Dripping with Wisdom,

This manifestation of an awesome annointed husband and wife union is astonishing. I am a single woman and now I know why I am still single. This book has delivered me from what has had me bound. The CD that accompanies this book, I played for Sabbath School at my church and two married elders of the church accosted me for the book. They wanted to know where I purchased it and tried to run out and get it but it was off of the shelves at 3 christian bookstores that they went to. I let my married church sister, Sister I, hear the CD that same afternoon in her car because she missed it in the morning. After listening for 20 minutes, she made me drive her right to the christian bookstore that I purchased it from and she purchased it. Then she played it for another church sister, Sister T, on the way to her home which is an hour away and that church sister went out that week and purchased the book. Then Sister I played the CD for Sister C and Sister C took it home and now Sister C's husband is begging her to read the book saying "Have you finished yet". Sister C saw Sister I in the street and gave her $20.00 told her to keep the change, because you can't have that book back. I am telling you all of this to say that THIS BOOK IS INFECTIOUS. First, I want to thank God for using this couple as an example so that they can impart the wisdom to the masses. Thank you Juanita and Wesley for being candid and open and allowing the world to learn.

A book with godly cousel about marriage,
By Onfire 4 Christ "Onfire 4 Christ" (Mississippi) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Teach Me How to Love You: The Beginnings (Paperback)
There is a big difference between a book about a head knowledge of marriage and a godly knowledge of marriage. This book is definitely a book for those who are in love with God and their spouse. It teaches you basically how to be a wife/husband in the church, in your home and the bedroom. Alot of us know how to be dedicated members of a church but don't know how to be dedicated to our spouse. The c.d. is also awesome. Ladies of Christ you better please your husband and husbands likewise your wives. Only you can keep the fire going!!! Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Weeks please continue to allow God to use you to minister to marriage couples like my husband and I. *Onfire for my husband*

Being in love is a wonderful thing. The feeling of total bliss when you see your mate or talk to him or her is incomparable. The butterflies you feel in your stomach when you think of things you have done together or places you have been can be overwhelming. You feel as if you are on top of the world and nothing or no one can bring you down. They say that love is blind and once the blinders come off you begin to see the real person you fell in love with. You can't understand why things aren't the same. The communication isn't that great and you aren't sure how to reconnect. Little things that you didn't notice before begin to bother you in the worst way. TEACH ME HOW TO LOVE YOU by Thomas Weeks, III is a book that shows you how to go about loving and understanding someone from the inside out.
God created Adam and Eve as a way of procreating and not to have Adam live his life alone. He needed someone with whom he could establish a godly relationship, hence Eve was born. Inside this book are essential factors that married couples or those wanting to marry need to know in order to have a happy and godly relationship. This book teaches you not only how to find a godly mate but also how to be one. In a marriage a husband and wife are to cover each other in prayer, have each other's back and not give up at the first sign of trouble. Also included is practical wisdom that is vital to building a strong marriage, they include, but are not limited to: What entices you about the opposite sex? How do you find a godly mate? What is a husband's dual role? What is the true natue and anointing of a woman? Why does adultery happen, and how can you avoid it? How can you develop and maintain sexual passion with your spouse? How do you resolve conflicts and build a strong future? TEACH ME HOW TO LOVE YOU is a straight to the point guide that assists in not only strengthening your relationship, but also making it long lasting. With so many marriages on the brink of divorce, something is needed to help couples understand one another and learn how to be the mate God created them to be. What I enjoyed most was how Bishop Weeks used personal experiences between him and his wife to show how they have overcome obstacles and grown together in love. Another plus was that scripture was used to validate every point that was made. If you are having trouble understanding your spouse or want to know how to be a godly mate, this book will not only aid in that goal but make the dream of being happily in love a reality. Better late than never!,

This review is from: Teach Me How to Love You: The Beginnings (Paperback)
I am a separated young (26) year old Christian woman. My marriage is unfortunately in shambles because we were not living according to God's divine plan for marriage. As I read this book,I recognized so many traps of the enemy that my husband and I fell in to where we allowed the Devil to move in to our home. Pastor Weeks keeps it honest, open and real and speaks plainly on every issue dealing with a Godly marriage. It is so sad to see so many of my young friends in wrecked marriages and broken homes and we haven't even hit 30 yet! Hopefully, this book can help someone else before it has reached the point where things have gotten out of hand like mine did. This book is a treasure and should be read by anyone who is married, is considering marriage or even a relationship. May God continue to bless Juanita and Thomas Weeks...

Only God could have allowed them to put this package together. This book and CD had such a profound effect on me, I bought one as a gift, lent mine out and read it twice. The CD is in my car stereo, just in case I missed something. The Bishop goes coal miner deep as to how God made woman. Prophetess Bynum, with her awesomely-annointed self, drove it home about the treatment of our husbands.

I'm Loving This Book,
By
This review is from: Teach Me How to Love You: The Beginnings (Paperback)
As a young minister of the Gospel, I am really and truly loving this book! I am already in the middle part of it and just started late last night! This book will truly minister to other individuals whether (single, married, divorced and seeking to marry again), ect...whatever your status is, Bishop Weeks and Prophetess Bynum keeps is raw, straight, uncut and to the point on how to keep a marriage going. As a single mother, it gives me hope in what God has shown to me about my future spouse. Also, this book reminds me that God is adequately preparing me to become the wife that this man needs and encourages me to allow God to prepare him to become the husband that I need him to be. If single women stop "looking for the right one..." and allow God to "prepare the right one..." then we can stop screaming that there are not any good men left in the world. The problem with that statement is, we are not patient enough to allow God to prepare the man that he has for us. We won't eat a cake that's half done so why do we want to settle for a man that God is not through working on? The problem with us is that we want to marry without learning how to keep a Godly marriage going. Marriage takes plenty of work and is more than just a blushing bride and a nervous groom waiting at the end of the altar. If you are in the anxious category of just wanting a husband or a wife, then allow Bishop Weeks and Prophetess Bynum to minister to you and tell you that there's more to marriage than what meets the eye! I can't wait to hear the bonus C.D. at the end... This is definitely a good read and I'm going to recommend it to others!

A Definite Must-Read,
By
This review is from: Teach Me How to Love You: The Beginnings (Paperback)
I ordered this book because I needed to learn how to be a wife. I was engaged, even though we are now no longer together. I knew part of the problem was my lack of knowledge in knowing what to do. I didn't want that to be an issue the next time around. I have recommended this book to so many people because it helped me to see myself in a way that I had refused to do. It allowed me to acknowledge my short-comings in the relationship area. I highly recommend this book for any and everyone that knows in the hearts and minds they could use a little overall fine-tuning.
The CD was an added bonus. I use it as my travel CD for long trips so that I can listen without interruption. If there is ever a second edition or supplementary guide, I will most definitely get it.

This book is very anointed. I thought I knew how to love. I thought I was ready for marriage. I thought I knew what marriage was. NOPE. I REALLY DIDN'T. This book changed my life and made me realize how to be a Proverbs 31 woman and minister to my husband. It also taught me that marriage is beautiful and a gift from God. I know now that my marriage won't be hell on earth that everyone says it is. I will have a blessed marriage and a blessed husband. This book has given me HOPE!!!
