5.0 out of 5 stars I Really Liked This Story, November 3, 2009
This review is from: Teach Me Tonight (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
It has been a while since I have read a book by Jacquelin Thomas. I liked this story. Micah was a good guy. He was Tamara's tutor when she was in college and always had feeling for her, but was too shy to let her know. Just when he gets the courage to express his feelings for Tamara, a misunderstanding ends their friendship and they lose contact with other. Fast forward ten years, Micah is a successful Music Mogul and Tamara is the journalist hired to interview the hottest new artist on his label.
Tamara sees this an opportunity to apologize for their misunderstanding and wants to let Micah know how she really felt about him. Micah has revenge on his mind, because he is still smarting from the way Tamara broke his heart.
When they come face to face, the spark between them is still as intense as ever and they end up in bed with each other. Just when it looks like they might get a second chance another misunderstanding tears then apart again. This time fate intervenes and won't make it easy for Micah to walk away. I really like this story, but if you are looking to read about some steamy sex scenes this is not the book for you. I personally think it was written with enough romance that the sex scenes weren't even missed or necessary.

This book wasn't good at all. Both characters were boring and I struggled to finish it. I was very disappointed.

3.0 out of 5 stars I guess it was pretty good., August 4, 2010

Well I think I liked this book a little better than the 1st book of the series. Micha and Tamara were just to confusing at times. Some of the words were kind of repetitive. She just kept saying over and over about him being back in her life and how she missed him in her life and wanting him back in her life. It was almost like every other page. I was looking for more of a broad vocabulary. I hate what happened to her when she was younger. I am glad that she was able to finally move past it. Sunni... although she was a little irritating, she proved in the end to be a true friend.
