Lively music, familiar tunes. Too fast for language learners to follow. I listen and learn the songs in my car, then teach them to my students. I bought the other two (Teach me more Spanish, and Teach me even more Spanish) and I and my kids love them all!

There is one song and dialog for each month of the year.

The "Teach Me" series is a great way to introduce a second language to little ones. The songs on "Teach Me Spanish" are adorable and they are sung in both English and Spanish so that children can make meaningful connections between the two languages. It is not too overwhelming with lists of vocabulary and grammar. However, if a child learns even one song on the tape, she learns a list of at least 10-15 vocabulary words, grammatically correct sentence structure and fluid, correct pronunciation. Age-appropriate for even preschoolers, because it is learning through music and is fun.

I had bought this CD for my daughter because of the great reviews on Amazon. I love the idea of it and the selection of songs is very appropriate and fun.

I was VERY disappointed, though, in the sound quality and especially the fact that the singing is often out of tune. I honestly can't bear to hear the CD for more than a few minutes. Because of that I feel like it was a waste of money.

I'm taking spanish classes right now and want to teach my daughter spanish too. I borrowed this from the library and then bought a copy! My 2 yr old is singing along with the songs while we drive, soon we'll have to order the others in the series!

My 3- & 5-yr olds like these CDs. We listen in the car, and they sing right along. I do not speak Spanish, but am picking some up. They have Spanish "lessons" at their preschool, so this is a nice way to enhance that activity.

This is a great timeless CD! My youngest 3 year old loves the variety, my 5 & 8 year olds can truly decode these songs by reading the booklet too, and it's pleasant for me as a parent to listen to over and over. Great balance of familiar and new songs, great dialogue at the right time and length, and well sung by good, good voices. In one CD my son is learning vocabluary, grammar and he doesn't grumble with Spanish. With this foundation he can see the same spanish words in other contexts and is really learning a language I've been trying to teach for over 3 years now! Well worth the purchase of #1 & #2!
