This is a great book for teachers and parents to teach children positive behaviors and to be responsible for their own behaviors. I used this book to teach teachers how to work with young children from 4 year olds to elementary ages. Children have needs: love and belonging, power, freedom, and fun. When they behave they are trying to get these needs met, so look at what behavior is missing, not the behavior itself. If you meet the needs of children, the behaviors change.
