This review is from: Teach Yourself ... Delphi 2 (Paperback)
The two small applications the author leads you in building will get you moderately comfortable with the Delphi environment.

But the book is more notable for what it leaves out than what it includes. If you're looking for how to work with such common Windows components as list and combo boxes, text boxes, check boxes, scroll bars, etc.; or how to code Pascal (the programming language on which Delphi is based), you won't find it here. Check this book out of the library if you can--but save your money for a more comprehensive one.
