A nice book for a beginner,

This is indeed not a reference book, but it actually teaches you how to use Illustrator if you are a beginner. First I struggled a lot with Illustrator without succeeding to handle the program properly. Then I ordered two books to make a private course. This book was really the best one. It consists of 24 lessons. I could work through them one after the other without being too bored. I do think it is a good introductory text to get started with Illustrator.
