Good Primer but misleading title,
By A Customer
This review is from: Teach Yourself Netscape 4 Web Publishing in a Week (Sams Teach Yourself) (Paperback)
This is a good primer and self-teaching manual for HTML. However the Netscape content seems like an afterthought to a finished manual to get title appeal. It barely describes the menu bars of Netscape and Composer and provides almost no info on setting up and customizing preferences. The author's premise is right that one should learn HTML basics before using an editor like Composer it's disapointing if you just bought the book to hurl up a homepage quick and dirty.

Don't waste your time,

I thought the book was a waste of time. If you really want to know how to make web pages the quick and easy way, get yourself an HTML book, like The Complete Reference HTML 2nd Edition, and get a freeware or shareware text editor and do it that way. I've found certain bugs in Netscape 4 that would make a 60k page balloon to 300k.
