The BEST COMPUTER BOOK I HAVE SEEN!!!
This book is so neat! It is like actually looking at the computer complete with instructions. I don't have to sift through a ton of words. You can find sections well grouped. Information is colorful and concise. The only things missing are some troubleshooting angles. I wasn't able to find out about certain frustrating problems that I know exist!

Good, but very basic
The level stated on the book is "beginner/intermediate," but I believe that is a stretch. This is a terrific book if you are just starting out with Word 97, but don't buy it hoping to take your knowledge to a higher level. When a publication boasts of an intermediate level, you have a right to expect the literal interpretation of that word. This book...

This book explains Word 97 very clear, in full color. If you're new to Word 97 or want to improve your skills, this book is it! It actually shows you how to do it, without using excessive, dull text. Very worthwhile.

This is a terrific book if you are just starting out with Word 97, but don't buy it hoping to take your knowledge to a higher level. When a publication boasts of an intermediate level, you have a right to expect the literal interpretation of that word. This book doesn't deliver that. Having said that, it would be a pleasure to see a higher level of this book handled in the same visual manner. To sum up, if you've used Word 97 before, even in the most basic capacities, my opinion is that you will be disappointed in the level of this one. Hope this helps.
