I am a beginner with iPhoto and a new mom who takes a lot of pictures! I needed to learn, quickly, a way to organize my images and do creative things with them. This book showed me how to do that. It showed me ways to organize, enhance and edit the images. Also showed me how to create picture books and cards. It is easy to read and understand. I recommend it highly!

Thank you for unlocking the mystery that was (at least for me) iPhoto 09! I feel that I can finally use iPhoto to its full potential with this book as a guide. It's great to follow step-by-step or use as a reference guide, and I love the extra tips at the end of each topic.

This is truly the manual that should have been in the box. It is clear, easy to use, extremely well illustrated and really all you need unless you are a tech geek.
There are more pictures than text and it takes you step by step through what you need to know about the various
subjects covered, showing the screen as you will see it on your own computpte. I have many of their manuals and they are great!!!

If all you need is a quick introduction to iPhoto, this book is an easy and basic introduction to iPhoto '09 without being intimidating. I cannot recommend this book as the sole source for iPhoto '09, as there are more comprehensive books out there. However, you may use this book to at least get you started with the basics, and then build upon these basics with other sources.
