This book is a great resource of information on the Welsh language.
I find it to be straightforward, and it covers a lot of information.
The author explains a lot of material in a very non-complicated manner, making this difficult language quite a bit more accessible to the common learner. There are tons of examples and exercises which I find to be very helpful.
I find the text to either assume previous or complementary knowledge of the language or to be attempting immersion. It is designed to be a course in and of itself, as well as supplemental material. I find that it really is a grammar boook, and not an introductory book, which probably would help me to understand all of the information in this one better. I have no previous knowledge of Welsh language and I feel that a very basic knowledge of pronunciation and vocabulary prior to reading this book would help me absorb all of the grammatical information in a more solid manner. Don't get me wrong, this book has a great section on pronunciation, which clears up a lot of confusion. I just think I should've gotten my feet wet before jumping in.
All in all, I love this book. It is packed with information.
