I absolutely love this book. The passion of the teacher is one that is seldom seen in schools these days. This book is a must read for anyone considering education. It helps you envision the struggles of immigrants, ELL students, students and parents living in low poverty. The teacher's passion and conviction is truly contagious and after reading you will be motivated to find multiple ways to reach students of all backgrounds.
