Thought provoking
Danielson wrote about the need for teacher leadership amongst teachers, and how teacher leadership should come from the teachers rather than from the top. Her book speaks much about the different types of teacher leaders you can find in a school. But it is not just the teachers, everyone in the school has to create and foster a supportive culture that will help bring...

Danielson wrote about the need for teacher leadership amongst teachers, and how teacher leadership should come from the teachers rather than from the top. Her book speaks much about the different types of teacher leaders you can find in a school. But it is not just the teachers, everyone in the school has to create and foster a supportive culture that will help bring academic success to students. To do that, we have to show respect to the students in what we do, and give one another respect too. Great on making you think, but I hope (as I am still reading) that Danielson will also provide suggestions on how we can develop a teacher leadership culture in a school.
