I'm a teacher, and I feel energized! I've been reading Jackie Waldman's book...a few pages at a time. It's hard to put down. I don't know if I love the teachers or the kids more! It's very obvious we are learning from each other. If you love kids, read this book! If you are a teacher or want to know a few great ones, read this book. I hope you will feel the love that has gone into Teachers with the Courage to Give. Thank you Jackie for a great tribute.

wow, dat book was great. but the more incredible part was the johnson park. Ms. Johnson's story was "delicious". When i turned to the page with picture of Ms. Johnson with a feather boa, i immediately dropped the book and i was scared for life. Then, when i mustered enough will power to pick up the book, i started to read the "Johnson" story. At first, i thought it was another dumb story, just like the other ones. but then, at the end, tears slowly trickled down my face and next thing i knew, the book turned to the page with the horrid picture and i dropped the book again. But only this time, on my toe. Although the book did more harm to me and i did to it, i thought that the book was great, especially the Susan Johnson story. Kudos and Accalades to you!

I must say that I am biased for buying and reading this book cause one of the teachers in this book was my teacher. I love this book cause it shows you how far a teacher will go to enrich their students love of learning. My teacher has changed the way I have percieved my world, and I am forever greatful. She has lead to me to my career path and I am proud to say that I am presidents of several new start up companies. Teachers and students of all ages should read this to see what real teachers are. I guarantee that you will become a better person, a better student, a better teacher, and just appreciate teachers more for what they do to us (the students) and our community. I for one should think that this author should get a noble prize.

I must say, this was an overall well written book. Every story was quite good. Though, the only one that really touched me at heart was Ms. Johnson's graduation speech. She put so much effort and diligence into it. She is an everyday miracle worker in everything that she does. On behalf of everybody in the world, we would like to thank you Ms. Johnson for making the world a better place.

Ms. Johnson is wow. She really wrote an extraordinary book here. Her sections is almost as compelling as the tv show 24. The author has compiled some pretty wonderful stories that everyone would look forward to seeing. I'm surprised that Ms. Basille is not in this book, because she is the best teacher on earth. I had Ms. Johnson first quarter, but she was kind of boring. She would constantly talk about potato this and potato that. And if you read her section of the novel, think of a woman with the highest voice you've ever heard. Then whats up with her clothes. On Mardi Gras, she looked like an animal. And she wears the strangest shoes you've ever seen. I really enjoy reading her material. She is a published author you know. The best part about her is that she doesnt teach one real course. Lets see, Marketing (haha) Intro to occ what a joke, UCI not even funny. I'm surprised she still has a job. Then there is the UCII teacher Ms. Basille, she's awesome. Ms.Basille if you are reading this we love you. Ms. J doesnt compare to Ms. Basille becasue Ms. Basille knows what shes talking about while Ms. J just sits there and thinks about these weirdo emails. Ms. J you are alright Ms. Basille rules, period 4, T1 comp lab, UCII. Yeah
