As I thought about that, this story started to coming to life for me. Truly, God's ways are higher than ours. This book was a fun outlet for me to share and explore just one way that we could see that come to be.

JoAnn Carter weaves a lovely romance that will sweep readers away from the very first page.

When Amanda's new teaching assistant, Tracy, causes her heart to sing...romance blooms. Two faith-filled people following God's call begin a journey of twists and turns that will leave you breathless and yearning for more.

JoAnn Carter never fails to please. As a middle-school teacher, I especially enjoyed the way Ms. Carter wove the aspects of a school year into the chapters.

Ms. Carter has created a story all romantics will love, and teachers especially will feel the heroine's conflict and stress as she plots new paths for her life before finding trust in God. The title evokes not just the plan book she keeps in the classroom, but her outlook on her own life. The chapters, which all are named and deal with a month of the calendar, are a clever way to keep track of the academic year.

Most of all, I love Amanda's frequent prayers within her inner dialogue and daily activities. These prayers delicately reveal her to us but never intrude upon the action or "preach." For a while I was a tad disappointed not to spend much time in hero Tracy's points of view...but the plot twists and surprises later on show that the author knew just what she was doing. A sweet, wonderful read and highly recommended, especially for anyone who loves children.

Amanda finds her heart swept away by her appealing new teaching assistant Tracy in a poignant story of a blooming romance between two very appealing, real characters. Amanda and Tracey are gifted, faith-filled, and are following the call God places on their hearts, but there are surprising twists and turns that will leave you on the edge of your seat, and very glad you read Teachers Plans. Put JoAnn Carter at the top of your `must read' list!

JoAnn Carter lives in Vermont with her wonderful husband of 20 years, four children, and their Golden Retriever. In the past she has worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse, an apple orchard guide, and as a substitute teacher.

The goal of JoAnn's writing ministry is to be a blessing to her readers. She prays that the characters' lives and the lessons they learn throughout the story will strengthen each reader's faith.
