Anita Price Davis is the author of New Deal Art in North Carolina (2008), Georgia During the Great Depression (2008), Women on United States Postage Stamps (2008), Women Nobel Peace Prize Winners (2006) and North Carolina During the Great Depression (2003). She has also authored or coauthored many other historical books and articles. She retired as the Charles A. Dana Professor of Education Emerita after 36 years at Converse College.

This book gave a great idea of the type of information that would be found on this particular PRAXIS. The actual test was more complex (naturally), but I was prepared.

My students/first year teachers have been using this review for about six months. Their pass rate has been excellent on the PLT; their recommendations of the guide have been enthusiastic.
Test-takers should remember that this is a REVIEW of information that they should already know. Inclusion of actual test questions is not possible because the test is frequently revised by ETS. Teachers/future teachers know that giving the exact questions (if they were available) would not be legal and would INVALIDATE the test. (Be sure you recognize that term.) Pay particular attention to the test-taking tips! Best wishes and happy testing!
