Liebman in full flight but dvd quality is poor,

The DVD is a video recording of a workshop that David Liebman gave at the Jamey Aebersold Summer Camp. The first disc is in a lecture theatre where David Liebman moves about sometimes using the microphone and at other times not using it. The person that video taped the event at times did not move the camera to follow David Liebman as he spoke and at times Liebman disappears out of the frame continuing his lecture. At another point he writes on the chalkboard but yet again the video does not capture what he writes. There are some useful hints about playing from basic info on posture and technique to expressive techiques such as articulation and vibrato. Not a great deal of playing on the dvds but what is there shows Liebman quite well. This in no means is a professionally recorded DVD. It is effectively a video released on DVD of two sessions at a music workshop. The video is a bit jumpy at times but if you can overcome this the message is a good one.
