5.0 out of 5 stars Great overview of pedagogy and practical applications., November 5, 1999
By A Customer
George covers the breadth of pedagogical content knowledge as it applies to beginning teachers in a comprehensive yet practical manner. All the basic, fundamental skills for beginning teachers to master are included. I have been using this book since 1994 with fabulous results. My students find its design easy to follow, its information straight to the point, and its development on target. I highly recommend this book for all entry level pre-service teachers.

This review is from: Teaching Children Physical Education: Becoming a Master Teacher (Book with CD-ROM) (Hardcover)
Dr. George Graham's text "Teaching Children Physical Education (2nd Ed.)" is an excellent resource for all elementary teachers interested in becoming "Master Teachers!" The book is a logically-laid out, progressive tool that introduces excellent classroom management techniques and methods for integrating Physical Education into the rest of the curriculum. As a teacher, I found this book, and the accompanying CD-Rom, to be an exceptional value!
