Teaching Culture: Perspectives in Practice is a compelling account of the role of culture in context and pedagogy. Accounts from the classroom and an analysis of materials provide an in-depth overview of this topic.

This review is from: Teaching Culture: Perspectives in Practice (Paperback)
This book does everything a book on teaching culture should do. Whether you agree with the author's analysis of the culture and culture teaching (I do not), you will find the clarity of his presentation and the soundness of reasoning a good example for academic settings. Especially helpful are the many anecdotes from in-service teachers--these are well chosen and serve to exemplify the author's main themes in a way that other in-service teachers can identify with.
