Supportive Text for Teachers,

This review is from: Teaching Exceptional, Diverse, and At-Risk Students in the General Education Classroom (3rd Edition) (Paperback)
I bought this book for a class in mainstreaming, required for my full credential in California. The book is well organized and easy to read. The information is valuable and I will refer to this book throughout my career as a teacher.

Even if you have used other ed psych books before, you will find this book to be quite good - it clearly states definitions in a way that you may not have understood before. An easy reading textbook!

Ordered this book used a week before Christmas. I received the package before the holiday, and it was in great shape! This is definitely a book that should be read by future educators and teachers already in the classroom.

the class i was taking required the 5th edition, but i decided to buy this one instead... they are pretty close and it gave me a lot of valuable information I needed to get an A in the class. Not to mention I saved a few $$$ buying this older version and it worked just fine.

This book was needed for a special education course, but there is a new edition/version of this book out that I was required to purchase for the course. I made the mistake and bought this version. The newer edition has chapters in a slightly different order and more example lessons, but there is supplemental information on this book online by the publisher including questions to make sure that you are understanding to assist anyone.
I would recommend this edition or the newer edition of the book.

A good book for every teacher, young or old, experienced or not, because even though we know or should know the basics of this topic; it helps to be educated, re-educated and reminded of these special students.

This book came in good condition, it had been highlighted in some areas, but these areas were ones I needed to study, so they were helpful. I saved half the price of buying the book new, so it was definitely worth it. I highly recommend buying textbooks this way over the school bookstore which charged $84.00 for a used copy when Amazon charged me $55.00 for the same thing. If I had waited to buy the book at the college bookstore as a friend of mine did, all the used copies would have been gone and I would have had to pay $112.00 for a new copy. Thank you Amazon.com!

I bought this book for a class on mainstreaming. I found it very informative. It will be a very useful resource for me to mainstream any child. The book discussed many types of students you might need to include in your class. It gave helpful strategies, multiple websites and great game ideas to include all learners into the regular classroom.

This product came exactly as described. My only concern was how long it took to arrive. I was into my second week of class when my book finally arrived.
