5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome resource!, November 6, 2006
By
This review is from: Teaching with Favorite Newbery Books (Grades 4-8) (Paperback)
My fifth-grader is using this as a literature curriculum. It gives her a journal option in which she daily responds to what she has read. She then chooses from a variety of book-report type activities that are not only different but also fun. She is enjoying the literature offerings and the activities. This is a helpful resource for home school parents and mainstream teachers alike!

5.0 out of 5 stars Book Projects, June 25, 2006
This review is from: Teaching with Favorite Newbery Books (Grades 4-8) (Paperback)
This is a great resource if you are looking to do book projects with your students. There are creative ideas as well as response journal questions. We have used the activities over and over and the students really seem to enjoy them. A great alternative to book reports.
