I have been using this book since it was first published, and recently purchased the latest edition. Though I've read dozens of books on giftedness, this is the book I give to parents and teachers to introduce them to the subject. I still find Winebrenner's counsel valuable for my own teaching and interaction with gifted students. This book would be excellent for a teaher's workshop or monthly teachers' meetings.

I purchased this book to help me review for the EXCET GT exam. I have found this book to be practical and set up so it can be incorporated into the average classroom. The author aslo includes philosophy behind the activities. I recommend this book to any teacher who is looking to improve his/her typical classroom. Be prepared for a bit of work though.

I ordered the book because I work with a variety of young adults and I want to keep them all engaged and learning more of on-the-job and job-related information which would help them make better products. Although it appears to repeat the same theme in each section, it tailors each to the type of information that the students are being exposed to (math, english, that sort of thing). While my focus is on information that does not fall within those categories, the techniques that are shown are easily applicable to any training focus and environment. I recommend this book for anyone who teaches bright kids.

A must-have for the classroom teacher. A lot of good ideas that work for the whole class, and a lot of ideas that work equally well for high school. Highly recommend.

I had used the previous edition of this for years when I was an enrichment specialist. It's a great differentiation resource for specialists and classroom teachers alike.

This book was assigned to me for my grad class, and it is nothing short of awesome! It gives great examples, suggestions, as well as dittos you can copy plus a cd where you can edit them for your students and print them right out! :)

I needed 3 books for teachers and decided to order used ones to save money. The books were in excellent condition and arrived in a timely fashion. Could not have been more pleased.
